J-League comes to The Offside
By: 21 | September 11th, 2008As my first post I wanted to welcome everyone to The Offsides new home for Japan’s Football League, commonly referred to as the “J-League.”
The J-League offers some of the most exciting Football you’ll find, with great technical ability and fan support. I hope through my writing many of you will become fans of these great clubs.
We are roughly two-thirds through the season so we’re starting up at a very exciting period. Presently the race for the championship is packed with five clubs only separated by two clubs including defending champions, Kashima Antlers and Urawa Red Diamonds.
To start things off, we have series of exciting matches today; Consadole Sapporo v Shimizu S-Pulse and a major title fight between Oita Trinita v Urawa Red Diamonds. I will be following up with a review of the the match and previews but first wanted to welcome you to The Offside J-League.

Richard – I’m a supporter of the entire league. I just wanted to post a photo with the first post and wasn’t sure which one. I thought because most readers might know Urawa more and they might like that.

Avi!!! I certainly would like to and hopefully there is enough people. Are you able to watch any of their matches?
Tetsuya Okubo’s production is very good and of late, Hisashi Jogo has been very dangerous but they have had too many problems defending. I am heading to your page now -Posted from
