Endo – (great name btw). I agree with you and the Marinos need more than him but he would shake things up.

If he was to be with them for training camp in Feb he would likely want to rest in January. For Celtic, this is obviously a good payday imho

i don’t think that he can help Yokohama for another title.
He is the King in Yokohama and he’s a good impulse for Marinos offensive. We’ll se how good he’ll play with K.Yamase.

yes, he and the family want to get back to Japan and the decision of “when” is purely financial and apparently Nissan wants this to go. Of course if they make the move towards €6.5 it will be hard for Celtic to say no – what do you think?

Oh yeah, I was sure that Naka would be going to Japan eventually. He wants his kids to grow up in Japan, but if Celtic don’t sell and Marinos don’t pony up enough cash he’ll be in Glasgow for 6 more months.

I’ve read the same thing and confirmed two separate inside sources who I believe before posting this. This comes down to a family decision for him.

For what it is worth, Celtic’s manager Gordon Strachan has been quoted as saying he expects Naka to finish the remaining 6 months of his contract with Celtic.
